"Escape" is an interactive installation that invites viewers to step inside a confined, intimate space designed to evoke the nostalgic safety of childhood hideaways, such as hiding under blankets or beds. Within the enclosure, participants are prompted to reconnect with their own joyful and complex childhood memories. The installation encourages reflection on the layered emotions of youth: the wonder and curiosity, the anger and frustration, the sadness and guilt. By revisiting these formative experiences, "Escape" creates a poignant dialogue between personal history and the universal challenges of navigating girlhood and identity.
